How Swan Safe Plus Works

Swan Safe Plus establishes a secure video baseline with you, then uses it for live identity verification before any assets can be withdrawn from your personal account. The setup process takes just a few minutes:

• Withdrawals are locked as soon as Safe Plus is enabled

• An initial video baseline is created to verify against when withdrawals are initiated

• To approve any withdrawal, you complete a brief video verification call with Swan’s team

• Two members of Swan’s team independently confirm your identity against the baseline video

• After approval, your withdrawal window stays open for 24 hours, then automatically re-locks

• Safe Plus cannot be turned off without completing a video verification call to confirm

• Safe Plus is internally secured by a full stack of SOC2-compliant controls and secure processes

This creates a final, human-verified checkpoint against a baseline that blocks common attack paths, such as SIM swaps, email compromise, social engineering, and device theft, even if a bad actor obtains access to your device or email.

This is especially powerful when combined with other Swan Guard protections, such as dynamic risk monitoring, enhanced fraud screening, and on-chain scam defense. Together, they form layered defenses that protect real people with real balances.

• Go to your Dashboard in your Swan account using the web interface or mobile app

• Select Swan Safe Plus and review the feature overview

• Agree to the fee schedule and complete a quick setup

• Schedule your initial video baseline call with the Swan team

• Your account is now enabled, with live verification required for any withdrawal
