Biography
Andy Edstrom, CFA, CFP is the author of the book Why Buy Bitcoin: Investing Today in the Money of Tomorrow. Additionally, his opinions on Bitcoin have been published in The Wall Street Journal and Coindesk, and his opinions on the regulation of the Internet monopolies have been published in The Economist.
Andy's professional experience includes wealth management, as well as private equity fund and hedge fund investment. Prior to the Global Financial Crisis of 2008-2009 he caught a glimpse into the making of “financial sausage” while working at Goldman Sachs.
Andy holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) credentials, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Williams College.
